Heidi Grek
Visiting Assistant Professor German Studies
Heidi Grek holds a doctorate degree in Germanic Languages and Literatures and Comparative Literature from Washington University in St. Louis (2019) and a bachelor’s degree from the ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½ (2012). After spending the past academic year as a postdoctoral scholar at Vanderbilt University, she is excited to return to her alma mater.Ìý
Fields:ÌýHer research interests include Goethe, the European epic tradition,Ìýand world literature. She continues to develop the comparative readings from her dissertation ofÌýFaustÌýandÌýParadise Lost,ÌýThe Divine Comedy, and Byron’sÌýDon Juan.
