The Office of Residence Life and Housing is seeking a motivated and organized college student to serve as the Event Coordinator for the Substance Free Community in Loyola Hall. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, promoting, and executing engaging substance-free events and activities for students living on the substance-free floors in Loyola Hall. You will collaborate with staff from the Office of Residence Life and Housing and the Office of Student Wellness Education to foster a healthy and inclusive community that encourages positive social interactions without the use of alcohol or drugs.
Priority will be given to students living in the Substance Free Living Community in Loyola Hall.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan, organize, and coordinate biweekly substance-free events, including workshops, social gatherings, and educational programs.

Collaborate with the Office of Residence Life and Housing and the Office of Student Wellness Education and student organizations to develop event themes and schedules.

Promote events through various channels, including social media, fliers, and campus newsletters.

Assist with logistical arrangements for events, including securing event spaces, managing supplies, and coordinating volunteers.

Evaluate event success through feedback and participation metrics, providing recommendations for future programming.

Serve as a positive role model and advocate for substance-free living among peers.
